East Street Market

The identity for this historic south London market celebrates the unique diversity of the local community and acknowledges the market's heritage. We combined South American and African pattern with Victorian wood engravings and lettering to create a system of emblems and typography. This project was commissioned from What Walworth Wants and the implementations include redesigned shop fronts, street furniture, market stall awnings, wayfinding, and illuminated lettering marking the entrance.
